One Academy-award winning actress and one of the most sought after fashion brands in the world. Working with Christian Dior to develop the Lady Dior campaign has been a beautiful collaboration. From John Galliano's designs to Peter Lindbergh's photography, we could not have asked for a better platform to begin imaging the online world of Lady Dior.

Introducing Hennessy Black

Syrup has launched the website for Hennessy's newest product, Hennessy Black. www.HennessyBlack.com introduces fans of Hennessey, new and old alike, to the various ways to enjoy Hennessy Black's fresh flavor whether you prefer it served up, down, or on its own. Also included on the site is Swizz Beatz' music video for "When I Step into the Club", an original track recorded for Hennessy Black directed by Hype Williams. So take a look and find out at what locations you can have it 'Done Different'

GE at TED

TED is an annual conference that brings together the world's most fascinating thinkers to share their ideas. To make a strong impression, we worked with GE to create the Digital Whiteboard Project. Throughout the conference, GE posted some of the world's toughest energy, environmental, and economic challenges on three state-of-the-art digital whiteboards. Conference-goers surrounded the boards to discuss their ideas with an illustrator who brought their concepts to life. These collaborations were streamed live online, and by integrating with Twitter, TEDsters were able to SMS into the feed on the board to share their ideas. The Whiteboards were a hit, online and off, inspiring those in attendance and giving everyone an inside look at both TED and GE.

Welcome Puma

We are very pleased to announce our new relationship with PUMA as global agency partner for Teamsport. Syrup will be handling all creative across TV, Print, Web and Radio for a number of different sports, most notably all duties for football (soccer). Given our love of football, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect client to start the New Year.

Awards and Recognition

We love what we do, so we get even more excited whenever we're recognized for the great work we do here at Syrup. Recently, our site www.HopeActChange.com took home three W3 Awards including the coveted 'Best in Show' for the Activism category, the 'Gold' Award for Community, and a 'Silver' for Politics. The W3 Awards honor creative excellence behind award winning sites, videos and marketing programs. Our GE Ecomagination site also took home top honors (www.ge.com/ecomagination) with four awards: Gold for 'Best Video / Motion Graphics', Gold for 'Branded Content: Promotional/Branding', Gold for 'Branding', and a Silver for 'Best Home Page.' As if that wasn't enough recognition to make us blush, our site for Gwen Stefani's fragrance, www.hlfragrance, has won the FWA Site Of The Day Award for October 17th, 2008 (www.thefwa.com). Looks like we'll have to buy another trophy case for the ol' "impress our clients" conference room.

DOW XLA Launch Party

The XLA™ Redesign the Rules campaign had its official launch party at the Highbar Penthouse in Midtown. Syrup organized the event, attracting VIP's like Bijou Philips and Danny Masterson and included music by the MisShapes. The party with our stellar XLA™ denim display generated lots of PR buzz for the brand.

Launching www.LivingProof.com, a new e-commerce site

No Frizz from Living Proof is the most innovative beauty product on the market today, becoming the first product ever to win the Allure Beauty Award before launch. This award-winning company needed an award-winning site, and we were more than happy to deliver. We created an e-commerce experience that gives users all the tools they need, from education to checkout, to find the perfect product. With interactive, step-by-step diagnostic tools, unique "how-to" styling videos, and the "Science Behind It" animated video (developed in part with Demo), users get a more intimate look at Living Proof and are guaranteed to get that signature flawless look that only No Frizz can deliver

SFOTE

TV On The Radio, Gang Gang Dance, Santogold, Syrup... these are just a few of the international superstars working with SFOTE, a non-profit organization dedicated to leveraging the creative community to help bring change in areas of the world that need help. For SFOTE's first project, dubbed "Lavantille Bus," Syrup was asked to create a multimedia awareness campaign. We were told that the education system in Trinidad is free, but many kids living in impoverished areas had no way of getting to the schools. The Lavantille Bus project aimed to raise money to create a busing system for the kids of Lavantille. To support the cause, Syrup shot both film and photography on location in Trinidad, created interactive work and installation art, while helping produce two major fundraiser events. The first at the Tribeca Grand Hotel with live performances by TV on The Radio, Gang Gang Dance and Santogold, and the second at the Soho Grand with a live screening of "Submerged," a short film by Syrup's CCO, Jakob Daschek.

Syrup Wins a Couple of Gold Davey Awards

Syrup took home another crop of awards today, courtesy of The International Davey Awards, creative awards honoring the best small firms worldwide. We snagged a Gold for our branding work on the DOW XLA Redesign the Rules campaign and a Gold in the Green/Eco-Friendly category for our GE Ecomagination website. We also won a Silver for the GE Ecomagination showcase, a Silver for the Hope.Act.Change campaign, and a Silver for the Harajuku Lovers website. With Thanksgiving on the way, we truly have a lot to be thankful for.

The E-Commerce site for Issey Miyakes's Pleats Please line caught the attention of The Interactive Media Awards, which gave the site the award for Outstanding Achievement. The interactive website excelled in all categories of the judging criteria, especially design, scoring 99 out of 100 in that category. And with the new fall line out, the site is still growing.

Syrup Redesigns the Rules with DOW XLA™

Today Syrup launched a major campaign for DOW XLA™ that spans print, film, web, identity and experiential marketing. XLA™ is a premium stretch fiber that lets fashion designers create in ways never before possible. Already brands like Calvin Klein, Brooks Brothers, Kenneth Cole, and 7 For All Mankind have included XLA™ into their clothing lines. Ecomagination wins Gold at the Effie Awards

Syrup is a winner at this year's Effie awards. Syrup was awarded the Gold for the GE Ecomagination campaign in the new "Green" Effie category, which honors effective eco-marketing campaigns. The work, a combined effort with Agency partners BBDO, Stinson Partners and OMD, was also a finalist for the Grand Effie.

Inspired by Barack Obama's vision of change and collective action, Syrup was brought into the project by will.i.am and Jesse Dylan and Mike Jurkovac, the filmmakers behind the video. We were challenged to build a site that would allow anyone to join in to momentum that had sparked around will.i.am's "YesWeCanSong" and we're happy to say we did just that ...in just 2 weeks!

Syrup Designs GE new Earth Rewards Credit Cards

Syrup is pleased to be a part of GE's launch of their Earth Rewards(SM) Platinum MasterCard. It's the first US credit card dedicated to reducing cardholders' carbon emissions through the purchase of greenhouse gas emission offsets. The idea is that by using this card, you can help balance out your own carbon emissions. - 1% of the money you spend on the card is used to purchase the offsets.

The card launched today and our work was proudly displayed in the New York Times - sign up and choose one of our lovely designs!
