To launch Marc Jacobs' first men's fragrance in over a decade Coty Prestige asked Syrup to come up with a digital campaign that would compliment the visuals created by photographer Juergen Teller and leverage social media in a fun new way. With mylar as the key graphic device, we created a site that celebrates the iconic design of the new bottle and a facebook game called "Bang You're It" that plays off the provocative name of the fragrance. We even decided to create an original animated mylar typeface just for Marc Jacobs Bang. Try the game out and see who bangs your profile. If you're in it to win, here's a hint...you get double points for each bang after midnight.
“Bang You’re It” created a fun and playful way to interact with friends while consistently reiterating the product name. There was a competition element to see who could get their profile picture banged the most. In the end, one lucky person won the grand prize, a trip to NYC to attend the Marc Jacobs fashion show.


We created an custom typeface using Mylar based on the style of the bottle. Using stop-motion, we also animated the typeface to make an even bigger BANG.
